From my conversations with ol’ school skaters, Screamin’ Wheels in Gary, IN was THE place to skate in the 70s and 80s. If this was your spot, please share your stories and memories.

My favorite place was screamin wheels from the time I was able to go I enjoyed myself seeing all my friends from school. It was a place where you go and skate and dance all night the times were 3pm to 7pm or 8pm to 12pm , the best part was going to McDonald’s afterwards. I missed these days I wish my kids got a chance to experience what I did as a child.
