Real Skate Stories is Still Going…But Not Very Active

By | August 23, 2012

I just wanted to let you know that my site is still running even though I haven’t posted in a while. I am still committed to my site and roller skating research (I’m in early 1900s for Chicago and 1940s for Black Chicago); however, other projects have taken priority. As soon as I can find reliable and consistent help, things will really be shaking here.

Here are some of my projects.

My book, 62 Blog Posts to Overcome Blogger’s Block, will be published this month. Please like our Facebook Page.

My writing business, The Write Design Company, has picked up more writing projects. Check us out to find out how we can serve yor. Like us on Facebook.

You can find information, tips and resources on writing, blogging and social media on my writing site, Marcie Writes.

Shorty: Your Chicago South Side Resource provides information on the South Side of Chicago. I’m working on re-branding Shorty, but I need to focus on the paying projects. As soon as I come up with a plan and get a good intern, this will be good. I’m really positioning Shorty as a resource on the South Side. I have a Facebook Page for Shorty, too. Please like us.

Also, I have a mobile app idea which I’m researching. It’s so exciting, but it’s work learning and trying to understand new things.

That’s my exciting life. I will post occasionally, but not so much until the fall. Thank you for your support and please continue to check in and send people to share their stories.
