Markham Roller Rink was the first black-owned roller rink in the South Suburbs of Chicago.Opened in 1974 by Evan Miller, it was one of the first rinks to play disco in the 70s, which quickly made it one of the most popular places to roll. Although you can find skaters of all ages at Markham, it is very popular among the “seasoned” citizens.
